ToLiss A330-900 Specific Features
-
HUD
The Head Up Display is a means of presenting information to the pilot in the line of their external forward vision which projects key flight instrument data onto a small ‘see-through’ screen positioned just in front of the pilot line of sight looking ahead out of the aircraft.
-
ATSAW
The Airborne Traffic Situational Awareness feature is a system capable of providing pilots with a real-time picture of the surrounding traffic during all phases of flight. Procedures using ATSAW give the crew the ability to move to more efficient altitudes when operating outside ground surveillance coverage. ATSAW will also support visual separation on approach and provide traffic situational awareness on the airport surface.
-
ROW/ROPS
The Runway Overrun Warning & Protection system is an advanced system for modern commercial aircraft. It enhances situational awareness for the pilots. On approach it issues warnings triggering a go around in case of an stabilized approach which leads to the runway becoming too short. After touch down, it monitors deceleration and alerts the crew if it predicts that the aircraft will not come to a stop before the end of the runway.
-
DRAIMS
This new system integrates the old RMP and ACP into a single unit making radio frequency selection simpler. It also integrates the transponder panel.
-
TOS
The Take off surveillance system warns the crew if high thrust is selected while on a taxi way or on a runway different from the one programmed in the FMS.
-
ISCS in Tablet
Integration of the ToLiss ISCS directly in the tablet eliminating the need to open the separate window to control the simulator.
ToLiss A330-900
The Airbus A330neo is a wide-body airliner that was developed from the original A330. The A330-900 variant is a versatile platform that delivers highly efficient performance for airlines, from short-haul segments to long-range routes over distances of up to 7,200nm. As the largest family member, the A330-900 retains the fuselage length of Airbus A330-300 variant to accommodate between 260 and 300 seats in a typical three-class layout.
Key enhancements include the latest-generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, along with new technologies and multiple aerodynamic improvements such as new composite winglet devices that extend the wingspan by almost four metres to generate increased lift and reduce drag.
Designed to be efficient on any sector length, the A330-900 reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 25% compared to previous generation aircraft, and offers double digit cost advantages per seat, providing airlines with more revenue opportunities.
